This morning I asked God to hold my hand. I’m not facing any dire trials. I merely felt some anxiety pangs about the future and sought His divine company. After my request, I blushed in shame. How dare I ask the God of the universe to calm a set of jangled nerves? With famines, floods, and genocide about the planet, where did I get off asking Him to hold my hand?
