written 9/19/07-finally posted today: I am mad-dashing in preparation for the ACFW conference to be held this week in Dallas. God gave me a mate beyond what I deserve, or had any good sense to seek, so I can attend with both a free mind and schedule. We own our business, so my absence requires more of him than feeding our son and cat. (The fish in our tank don’t rely on me for food. I am responsible for feeding only those that can complain when I forget.) He regards his effort as a contribution, not a burden. What a …
